Marmion Primary School, an Independent Public School in Western Australia, is located in the northern suburb coastal community of Marmion, 15 km from Perth.  Opened in 1956, ‘Our Little School in The Bush’ nestles within treed bushland. The refurbished, air conditioned classrooms and spacious outdoor areas provide excellent learning facilities for students from kindergarten to Year 7.

The caring, skilled staff provide a curriculum which caters for students’ abilities, needs and interests so that high academic, social, physical and behavioural standards are maintained and enhanced.

ICT access is provided through fully networked facilities, with wireless connectivity adding further flexibility.

The school community identified the virtues of respect, responsibility, confidence, honesty and tolerance as the focus of the school’s values education. A range of community environmental programs and our ‘Jack the Wagtail’ program support student development in this area.

The safe, happy learning environment has been achieved through the combined commitment and cooperation of teachers, parents and staff. The school enjoys a high level of support from its community, helping to provide improved facilities and opportunities for each student as we all ‘Strive to Learn’.
